At Salado Glass Works, guests have the rare opportunity to step into the studio and create their own glass artwork. Working alongside our professional glass artists, you’ll shape molten glass using traditional glassblowing tools and techniques. From colorful ornaments to elegant bowls, each piece is crafted by you and becomes a one-of-a-kind souvenir from your visit to Salado.
Salado Glass Works offers private glassblowing experiences designed for corporate groups, team outings, and client events. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to step away from the office and into the studio, where guests can take part in a hands-on creative process.
Each event is tailored to the size and goals of the group, with guidance from our glass artists throughout the experience. Whether used for team building, client entertainment, or a memorable off-site gathering, the result is an engaging event that brings people together through craftsmanship and creativity.
Private corporate events are typically scheduled in the evening and include exclusive use of the studio space.
For private events, the entire gallery and hot shop are reserved exclusively for your group. During your event, the space is closed to the public so your guests can enjoy a relaxed and personalized glassblowing experience.
A counter area is available in the shop where you may bring your own food and beverages (including alcohol) to enjoy during the event. The type of glass pieces created will depend on the ages and number of participants in your group. As an added perk, all guests receive 10% off any purchases in the gallery that evening.
The Blow-Your-Own (BYO) glass experience is paid per person the evening of the event

A $250 non-refundable facility reservation fee is required to secure your date
Please Note
All glass pieces must cool gradually overnight in our annealing oven. Your finished creations will be ready for pickup the following day.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session to check in and get started on time.
Closed-toe shoes required. Dress comfortably—studios can be warm.
